Our Mission
We curate surprising moments of joy where people feel seen and celebrated.
Our values
Magic of Surprise
Surprise breaks routine, sparks wonder and inspires connection.
Power of Play
Play transforms everyday moments, uplifting spirits and sparking creativity.
Reciprocity of Joy
Joy is a unifying force in which both the giver and receiver feel the positive effects.
Our WHY
At ZAG, we believe that joy is an act of connection, and surprise is a powerful tool to remind people they matter.
According to the Foundation for Art & Healing’s UnLonely Project, more than 1 in 3 adults in the U.S. report feeling serious loneliness, and the numbers are even higher among young people, caregivers, and underserved communities. The consequences go far beyond feelings—chronic loneliness is associated with:
A 29% increase in risk of heart disease
A 32% increase in risk of stroke
A 50% greater risk of developing dementia in older adults
And, according to the U.S. Surgeon General, the same health impact as smoking 15 cigarettes a day
But science also shows that small, creative interventions can make a real difference.
ZAG Project offers opportunities for creative expression, surprise, and shared experience in helping to alleviate loneliness. We curate moments of joy that remind people:
You are not alone. You are seen. You matter.
