Joy-Making Events

This month at our volunteer night, we started preparing for our May Day event with schools across the Denver Metro area. We were able to create 85 paper cones to house our upcoming paper flower bouquets. This was a huge help in getting us to our goal of 130!

Since Saint Patrick’s Day was approaching, we also create felt “lucky charms” shaped like 4-leaf-clovers for our March Pops of Joy. These charms were shared with our partner organizations and others who are in need of a pop of joy and a bit of luck.

We were able to create paper flowers and 4-leaf-clovers with a group of adults at Englewood’s Malley Center. Each quarter we host a group called the Sunshine and Joy Makers at the center and make crafts together.
