Valentine’s Day

This year, we solidified Valentine’s Day as one of the days we go ALL IN!

We were busy all the way from our January volunteer night through February 14 making and delivering goodies around the Denver Metro. For us, Valentine's Day is about so much more than romantic gestures. It's about caring for others and sharing love with those around you, no matter who they are. We loved seeing the creativity of our volunteers, the students and organizations we partnered with for these projects.

Our Valentine’s Day Projects:

  • Aromatherapy hand warmers for seniors made by our volunteers and staff

  • Handmade cards with kind and loving messages by 8th Graders from Graland Country Day School

  • Hanging window ornaments made by kindergarteners for families who are part of the CAFE 18 @ Home program at CAFE 18

  • Reusable cups filled with hot cocoa, a sweet treat and handmade cards for HAAT Force

Because of our amazing volunteer team, 75 homes and more than 200 adults and children received a little more love this Valentine's Day.

At this point Valentine's Day is our whole personality! But who wouldn't want spreading LOVE and JOY to be what they're known for? Thank you to everyone who made all of these projects possible.
